There are several ways to get to the Niagara Falls. You can fly (choose Buffalo, NY for your arrival airport if you are traveling from New York City airports), or rent a car, or join one of the bus sightseeing tours. Driving to Niagara Falls from New York City will take about 6-8 hours.
Niagara Falls can be seen from the US side and from Canada. If you don’t need a visa to go to Canada or if you have a visa, you can see Niagara Falls from both sides. If you don’t have a visa, you can see it from the US side and still be impressed by this nature’s miracle. Take Maid of the Mist boat ride as it goes right under the fall.
