There are so many interesting things in Central Park! One such place is the Turtle Pond. It is located between 79th and 80th streets in the park. The place is an artificial pond, filled with the drinking water, but don’t drink it as the pond is the home to many turtles (there are five types of turtles!).
Turtles love the sun and when it’s warm, they like “sun-bathing” on the rocks. The pond is located in a quiet area. It is a great place to relax after a walk in noisy Manhattan.
