The Flatiron building

175 5th Ave & Broadway New York, NY 10010

The Flatiron Building was built in 1902. This is one of the most beautiful and interesting buildings in Manhattan, located between 22nd and 23rd streets, at the intersection of Broadway and Fifth Avenue. Daniel Burnham was the architect of the building.

During his life Burnham built a lot of interesting buildings in New York, Chicago and Pittsburgh. The most famous are Selfridges department store in London, the Union Square station in Washington D.C., Macy’s building in Philadelphia.

After you’ve taken enough pictures of the building, stop by at Eataly across the street to enjoy a glass of wine or amazing ice cream at their Gelatteria.
