St. Patrick’s Cathedral

14 E 51st St New York, 10022

St. Patrick’s Cathedral, one of the largest Catholic churches in America, is located in an unusual place: at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and 50th Street. Unusual, since the land in this place is sooo expensive, and most likely you’d expect one of the world’s leading retailers or global businesses in a location like this.

The cathedral is very beautiful. Its Neo-Gothic style stands out among other Fifth Avenue buildings, but it is so typical of New York City: to always be different and unexpected. Did you know that the design of the altar in St. Patrick’s Cathedral was made by Tiffany? The cathedral can hold up to 2,000 people at the same time. If time allows, a visit here is a very interesting experience - beautiful architecture, stunning views inside, and organ music concerts (these are usually free).

Concert schedule and information about the cathedral is available on St. Patrick’s Cathedral official website.
